About Daphne
I am a self-taught watercolor artist based in Manhattan, Kansas, and I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. Art, for me, is not just an expression; it’s a connection to the soul. It’s a language that transcends words, a way to communicate emotions, stories, and moments that are sometimes too intricate or personal to capture otherwise.

My work is characterized by vibrant colors, whimsical designs, and an abundance of floral elements. I draw inspiration from the natural world around me—the way flowers bloom and fade, the play of light and shadow, and the endless possibilities of color and shape. Each piece I create is an exploration of beauty, joy, and the deep connection we share with nature.

As a self-taught artist, my journey has been one of continual learning, experimentation, and growth. I believe that art should not only be seen but felt, and I strive to infuse each painting with a sense of lightness, wonder, and energy. Through my work, I aim to invite viewers to pause, breathe, and reconnect with their own sense of peace and joy, much like I do while I’m painting.

In the end, I hope my art serves as a reminder that beauty can be found in the simplest moments, and that creativity is a powerful force that can uplift the spirit and inspire connection.
